NFL power rating?

Can somebody explain me how to create one?i create one with this formula (PF-PA)+100 but this isn’t working

The most important stats as it relates to who wins and who loses are: Yards per pass ATTEMPT, and yards allowed per rush attempt. It follows that the converse is equally important, ie. yards allowed per pass attempt and yards gained per rush attempt.

Take the Super Bowl; In the regular season the Colts were better than the Bears in only 2 of these 4 categories.
Colts:
Yards per pass attempt: 7.9
Yards per rush attempt: 4.0
Yds allowed per pass att: 6.5
Yds allowed per run att: 5.8

Bears:
Yards per pass attempt: 6.7
Yards per rush attempt: 3.8
Yds allowed per pass att: 5.8
Yds allowed per run att: 4

In the Postseason the Colts had 3 of the 4, and closed the gap on the 4th significantly.

Colts:
Yards per pass attempt: 6.6
Yards per rush attempt: 4.1
Yds allowed per pass att: 5.9
Yds allowed per run att: 4.1

Bears:
Yards per pass attempt: 6.4
Yards per rush attempt: 4.3
Yds allowed per pass att: 6.6
Yds allowed per run att: 4.4

The problem with a “power” system is that it does not factor in the fact that the Colts performed that way in the postseason against better teams than the Bears. But if you start with those numbers you have a good basis for what will happen.
